Fence Builder

We are delighted to welcome you to our new Fence Builder tool. This tool will help you to order all the components required for your fencing project. Once you have selected your fence panels, it will work out how many posts, post caps and clips you need; all you have to do is select the type you require. If you do not want certain items just choose the 'not required' option.

It's simple - just follow the steps 1-4 below and if you would like fence installation (available in certain post code areas) then have a look at Step 5. Don't forget we are here to help and so if you have any questions or difficulty with the Fence Builder give us a ring or send us an email.

CONDITIONS OF SALE FOR FENCE INSTALLATION

Gardenfencing.co.uk Installation Service 1. Site conditions. Gardenfencing.co.uk prices assume the following site conditions:- a. That the fence line is clear of debris and that any old fencing and fence posts have been removed. b. That there are no underground obstructions such as rock, rubble, concrete, tarmac or large tree roots, and that ground conditions are suitable for manual digging with a suitable spade. Ideally existing post foundations should be removed or our installers will need to attempt to avoid them by installing a half-panel at the beginning of the fence-line. c. That the access to the whole of fence line is reasonable and allows clear and safe working space for two installers. Should any of the above conditions not be met, then you could incur charges for an additional days work for two men at a rate of £450 per day. 2. Choice of fencing products. We will be installing fencing that you have chosen and purchased yourself, and as such you are responsible for ensuring that the products are fit for purpose as our installation teams will not be able to exchange products for you. In particular, please ensure that all posts are at least 600mm longer than the height of the fence to be erected. On sloping ground, posts should be 900mm longer. 3. Neighbours. It is the customer.s responsibility to gain any necessary permission from neighbours. 4. Plant and grassed areas. Our installers will take reasonable care to avoid damage to plants and grassed areas, but cannot be held responsible for damage to growing stock that is along the fence line or access route. 5. Standard of workmanship. Our installers are professionals. They prefer to concrete posts into the ground wherever possible and (unless necessary) not to use metal post fixings. 6. Leadtime. We aim to complete all installations within 3 weeks of order, but in times of high demand this may be extended. Actual installation dates will be confirmed once your order is received. 7. Procedure. Upon receipt of your order, your details will be passed to our dedicated contractor. They will contact you by telephone, re-confirm that site conditions comply with these terms and conditions and agree an installation date with you. You will need to be on site when the installers arrive to show them exactly where the fence is to be installed. If you can peg out the line beforehand, then this will save time and avoid any misunderstandings. You also need to be there when they leave in order to sign-off their workmanship as satisfactory. This will validate your guarantee. Under certain circumstances, our installers will leave temporary braces to fix the fence in position, allowing the new concrete post foundations to set securely. 8. Guarantee. The installation workmanship will then be guaranteed for a period of 12 months from completion. It will not however guarantee your fence from acts of God such as flood or storm damage. Your rights regarding the quality of fencing materials purchased remain unaffected.
